I grew up in Dallas, Texas and I have always wanted to make movies and take pictures. I graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with a degree in  Film and Photo Journalism.  I have  traveled across the globe filming documentaries for non-profit organizations and missionaries as well as shooting photography in locations such as Israel, Africa, France, UK, Argentina, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Mexico, Germany, Dubai, Switzerland, Austria, and the Bahamas.

    I married the love of my life, Casey, in June of 2007 and we now have a little boy named Aiden, born March 22, 2009. Having him around makes me a stronger artist as I have one more great thing in my life that encourages and inspires me to be the best at what I do in my little corner of the Universe.

    My studio is located in the back of the art school for children my wife and I started called

“A Little Artsy” located in Snider Plaza (in the heart of the park cities).  I have a 300 square foot studio that is quiet and intimate and perfect for the kind of shooting that requires little assistance other than me, my lights and my camera. Some of my clients want dogs, cats and even horses in the picture with them which is why I will come to you in some cases. As much as I love taking pictures in the studio, I really enjoy capturing the environment of a child - like their home, backyard, room or at a family lake-house or ranch. If a child feels at home, their personalities will be at home as well, and that will transfer into my camera and ultimately on your walls and blogs. I take my photography very seriously and if I have the pleasure of working with you, I know you will be thrilled at what we can come up with together.

    Bring as many clothing changes as you like. What works best is either a solid black or white shirt for black & white and COLOR images. I am all for trying EVERYTHING! Bring in whatever you want.

    Also, it makes a cool shot to have your children holding something that has some meaning or wearing something that makes you smile. These are just a few ideas...

PROP & Accessories IDEAS

    I try to capture the emotion and personality in my photography which will be a forever time-stopping event. Everyone is changing, especially children, and I love to capture the moment in an image. Whether I shoot a newborn in the hospital, a mother in waiting, a baby growing, a child laughing, or a grandparent aging, I always make my images as artsy as possible. My style is a range from extreme close up shots that reveal the detail behind the eyes, or behind the belly, to dramatic lighting to reveal every curve or angle you may have never noticed before.

    I will edit and retouch your images to fit the style and drama that meshes with your vision. My extensive Photoshop knowledge helps me to use my digital paintbrush on your photos as well. Your final product will not be just another round of pictures; they will be lifelong pieces of art.
